Happy 25th Birthday

We went to TEXAS ROAD HOUSE for Derek's Birthday, which was definitely his style of dining.

He had to get on a saddle and everyone gave him a big birthday yeehaa!

The night included delicious food and good company.

Dream Jobs

Our jobs right now aren't really our ultimate dream jobs but we have always wanted to work at the places we are employed. Scott has been working at Chase Bank, for a few months now and loves it. He looks good in his uniform too! I just got hired at Nordstrom and couldn't be happier. The people are awesome and the products are to die for, couldn't get better than that! Scott and I are so blessed for all the opportunities in our lives.

Family in Vegas

Dr. A.G. Noorda, Scott's Grandfather and closest friend (he will be Scott's Best Man at our Wedding) was in the hospital this week and wasn't doing very well until Scott made a quick, less than 24 hour trip to stay the night with him in the hospital on Wednesday. This quick trip many say saved Grandpa's life. YES, my fiance is a HERO! Kara, Scott and I made another trip down to Vegas Saturday to visit with Grandpa and the rest of the Noorda Family. I am so lucky to be marrying into such amazing families as the Varleys and Noordas.

Parents in Town

Scott's parents were in town for a couple of days and Scott's Dad was able to take our engagement pictures. We are so blessed to have such an amazing photographer as a father/soon to be father. We also celebrated Kara's birthday and spent time with family, which includes two of the cutest boys, Reis and Everett. It was a fun beginning to our weekend.

hillary is the bestest there is. i love her so much. i am so happy that i can be with her FOREVER. she makes me so so happy:)

SPRING TIME

For a date we went to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point to see all the baby animals for Spring.

The calf was so cute with it's big eyes and long tongue.

We read that donkeys are social animals that love being around other animals and people.

I couldn't get enough of this sweet little calf.

It was a fun little adventure and we recommend going to see all the animals, especially right now since there are so many cute babies being born.

Across the street there is a beautiful garden to walk through too.
